Lately, I’ve been reflecting a lot on those who have passed away. This morning, I received news that my second son’s wife’s grandmother has passed away. Although I never had the chance to meet her, I had heard about her before. I can’t help but wonder, why did this have to happen at the end of the year?

I also received a message from my son saying they will refrain from sending New Year’s greeting cards. As more people depart from this world, I deeply feel a growing sense of loneliness.

When I hear the word "balance," it reminds me of my working days at a company. I was often told how important it is to maintain balance in the business world. In other words, keeping a balanced mindset is crucial.

However, maintaining balance is a challenging task for me. To achieve it, I need to listen to and understand what many people are saying to me. For example, sometimes my boss would tell me to do one thing, while on the other hand, my subordinates might suggest I do something entirely different.

It's definitely a bit difficult to maintain balance in a workplace environment, especially when dealing with differing opinions and expectations from colleagues.

These days, I don’t make phone calls anymore. I mostly communicate through LINE.My kids say they feel nervous when they have to make a phone call.

The other day, I received a package from Amazon, and I couldn’t tell if it was for me or for my late husband. I wanted to call them, but I couldn’t find the contact phone number right away, and it took a long time to figure out how to reach them.

In the end, I managed to find the phone number and confirmed that the package was addressed to me, which was a relief. However, not being able to make a call immediately is really stressful.
