金曜ワークショップの内容をお裾分け

 🚄 わたしたちの鉄道トーク：日本の旅あれこれ ✨

今回のテーマは「**電車の旅の思い出**」。みんなのエピソードがたくさん飛び出しました！

* 毎年、大学時代の友人に会いに**近江八幡**へ行く話や、各地の**駅弁**を楽しむのが旅の醍醐味だという声。

* 子どもの頃に**愛知**の友だちと乗った電車の思い出もチラリ登場。

🗻「列車から観る富士山はいつがベスト？」」なんて話も出て、冬がいいよ〜というアドバイスが。

* **京都駅の建物のかっこよさ**や、出張や修学旅行の話も盛り上がりました。

* **永平寺**のピカピカのお寺と修行僧たちの姿に感動した旅の話も。

🥟 お土産トークでは、

* 「**あじゃり**好き！でも最近サイズが小さいかも...？」

* 「**大阪では何を買おうかな？**」「やき系がいいんじゃない？」などなど。

海外旅行の話も登場！たとえば、

* ヨーロッパで優しい駅員さんに助けられて、**シカゴでお得で安全なホテル**を見つけてもらった旅の話。

* 家族で楽しんだ**軽井沢の社宅ステイ**、駅で寝た(!?)という**激安旅行エピソード**まで飛び出しました！

🎓 最後には「こんな時、英語でどう言う？」という表現チェックのコーナーもあり、英語の自然な言い回しをみんなでシェアしました。

🚄 Our Train Talk: Fun Travel Tales from Japan ✨

This time’s theme was **memories of train travel**, and everyone had some great stories to share!

* One person talked about an annual trip to **Yokaichi** to visit a college friend — the journey and the local food are part of the fun.

* Another shared their love of **ekiben** (station bento), especially the variety across Japan.

* A childhood memory from **Aichi** also made a short but sweet appearance!

🗻 When’s the best time to see Mt. Fuji from the train?

Winter got the top vote for the clearest view!

* We also talked about how **cool Kyoto Station** is — both its modern architecture and historical vibes from school trips and business travel.

* And a visit to **Eiheiji Temple** after the pandemic impressed everyone with its peaceful, sparkling-clean grounds and trainee monks.

🥟 Souvenir time!

* “I love **Ajari-mochi**—but they’re getting smaller, aren’t they?”

* “What should I buy in Osaka?” → “Maybe something Yaki-style!” 😋

Then the stories went global:

* One person shared how a **kind train staff in Europe** helped them find a safe, cheap hotel in Chicago.

* Others talked about **family trips to Karuizawa**, or even **sleeping at stations** during super-budget adventures in Sendai and Kyoto!

🎓 We wrapped up with some casual English tips — how to say everyday expressions naturally in English, with fun examples for everyone.

Just hearing everyone’s adventures made us want to hop on a train and go somewhere new! 🚉🌸
