**If you could live in any book or movie universe, which would you choose and why?**

（もし本や映画の世界のどれかに住めるとしたら、どれを選びますか？その理由は？）

I would choose the world of *Anne of Green Gables* or the world of Akari Naruse.

**What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?**

（今までに食べた中で、いちばん珍しかったものは何ですか？）

I have eaten Shakshuka, a Middle Eastern dish, and Southern American food served with gravy sauce.

中東料理のシャクシュカや、グレイビーソースをかけたアメリカ南部の料理。

**If you could invent a holiday, what would it be about?**

It would be a day to enjoy and appreciate the sounds and presence of birds.

Donald Trump, because his personality is completely different from mine, and I would like to know what he thinks during a typical day.

I would like to travel around Europe. In Spain, I want to visit the Sagrada Familia, which is rumored to be completed this year, and watch a soccer match where Japanese players are playing.

ヨーロッパ各地を巡りたい。スペインでは、今年完成すると言われているサグラダ・ファミリアを訪れたり、日本人選手が活躍するサッカーの試合を観たい。

**What’s something you thought would be easy but turned out to be difficult?**

Before getting married, I thought relationships with family and relatives would be easy and enjoyable, but I realized that communication can actually be quite challenging.

結婚前は家族や親戚との関係は楽しいものだと思っていたが、実際にはコミュニケーションが大変だと気づいた。

I like spending time at the library or relaxing at the café next to it.

図書館で過ごしたり、その隣のカフェでゆっくり過ごしたりするのが好き。

I sometimes wonder how my kindergarten friends are doing now.

幼稚園の頃の友達は今どうしているのかな、とふと思うこと。

I was once chased by a dog, but I was a fast runner and managed to get away.

犬に追いかけられたことがあるが、足が速かったのでうまく逃げ切れた。

**If you had to eat the same meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?**

（もし一生、毎日同じ食事を食べなければならないとしたら、何を選びますか？）

I would choose a simple soup made with ready-made mixed dashi, because I like it and wouldn’t get tired of eating it every day.

市販のミックスだしで作るシンプルなスープ。好きなので、毎日でも飽きないと思う。

（もしあなたがキッチン家電だとしたら、何になりたいですか？）

I would be a refrigerator, because it is a generous appliance that can hold many different things.

冷蔵庫。たくさんのものを受け入れられる、寛大な家電だから。

**If you were a vegetable, which one would you be?**

（もしあなたが野菜だったら、どの野菜ですか？）

I would choose spinach, because it seems like a vegetable that farmers take good care of.

農家さんに大切に育ててもらえそうなので、ほうれん草がいい。
