八柱駅にあったcafe ロイヤルで英会話の音読会とsmall talk のプライベートレッスンをやっていた時があります。９年くらい前でしょうか。その時の生徒さんの息子さんが「まちしるべ」という千葉県の地域情報ポータルサイトの代表をされています。今朝、Facebookにこの記事が投稿されていることに気づき、ジーンとしてしまいました。

熱心に英会話の練習をされていたマチコさんは、8年前に突然天国に旅立たれてしまいましたが、こうして、息子さんが紹介してくださるというのは、本当にありがたいことです。

マチコさんは、英会話練習の時に息子さんのことをお話しされたこともあって、この繋がりを喜んでくださっているかなぁ。

きっと、このご縁は、マチコさんが結んでくださったのですね。

There was a time when I conducted read-aloud English conversation sessions and private lessons for small talk at Cafe Royal, located near Yahashira Station. It was about nine years ago, I believe. A student of mine back then has a son who now runs "Machishirube," a regional information portal site for Chiba Prefecture. This morning, I noticed an article posted on Facebook, and it deeply moved me.

Machiko-san, who was diligently practicing English conversation, suddenly passed away and went to heaven eight years ago. It's truly grateful that her son is introducing us like this.

Machiko-san used to talk about her son during our English conversation practices, so I wonder if she's pleased with this connection.

Surely, this bond was something Machiko-san created for us.
