白鳥とコウモリ

「白鳥とコウモリ」読了。　切なさいっぱい。でもこの物語の中の人たちのような人生と比べれば、平穏な毎日を送れていることはありがたいことだ。

少々　めんどく山脈を渡らなくちゃならなくても、そんなことで悩めるのは、幸せ。もっともっと深刻なことに向き合って生きなくちゃならない人もたくさんいる。そして人生明日何がおこるかわからない。明日は我が身かもしれない。

I finished reading 'The Swan and the Bat.' It was full of poignancy. But compared to the lives of the characters in the story, I am grateful to be living a peaceful everyday life. Even if there are some tedious things—Mendo Ku Sanmyaku—I am fortunate to be able to worry about such things. There are many people who must face far more serious issues. And in life, you never know what might happen tomorrow. It could be my turn next.
