But as long as I have Naruse by my side, I'm sure everything will be alright.' It was inspiring to realize that Naruse is not just an important figure to me, but also serves as a mentor to Miyajima-sensei herself, highlighting the profound guidance and support she provides.

本屋大賞の授賞式で、宮島先生は『来年は予測できないことがたくさん起こると思います。でも成瀬と一緒ならきっと大丈夫』とおっしゃっていた。成瀬が私にとってヒーローであるだけでなく、宮島先生自身にとってもメンターとしての役割を果たしているんだなぁと、成瀬の指南力とサポートに感動しちゃった。　

Naruse isn't just a character in the books anymore. He's become a role model for the readers. Even Tanaka from Bakusho Mondai said he cried reading the Naruse series, which convinced me of the profound impact Naruse has on the readers.
