「希望荘」を読んで思う

希望荘、読み終わった。

本を読むと、いつも心に沁みる言葉があるんだけど、今回は、

幹生は言った。「でも、もういない」

-そうなんだよ、もういないんだ・・・

田上くんが呻った

「世の中が変わりましたもんね」

-はい、ほんとに、ほんとに変わりました。

「君が口が悪いのは、自分自身に対して残酷だからじゃないのかな。いつも自分で自分に怒ってるから、だらに対しても、ものの言い方がきつくなるんだ」

-なるほど。そう思ってみると、あぁ、そうなのかもしれないなぁと思い当たる人物がいる

さて、次の三郎シリーズは「昨日がなければ明日もない」でも圭吾さんの文庫最新刊もとっくに準備できているので、２冊同時に読みたい気分。

I finished reading *Kibou Sou*.

Whenever I read a book, there are always words that deeply resonate with me. This time, it was:

Tagami groaned, 'The world has changed, hasn't it?'

- Yes, truly, the world has really changed.

'Maybe the reason you're so harsh with your words is because you're being cruel to yourself. You're always angry at yourself, which makes your words come out sharp when directed at others.'

- I see. When I think about it that way, it reminds me of someone who might fit that description.

Now, the next book in the Saburo series is *If Yesterday Hadn't Been, There'd Be No Tomorrow*. But I also have Keigo-san's latest paperback ready, so I’m feeling like reading both at the same time.
