I finished reading *Galileo's Anguish*. I thought I’d be able to read a lot while recovering from COVID, but my throat hurt so much that I couldn't enjoy reading at all. My throat is still a little sore, and now my ears hurt as well, but I’m feeling much better. The main symptom I’m dealing with now is coughing. It’s really helpful that I can conduct workshops online without worrying about infecting anyone.
As for *Galileo's Anguish*, the plot tricks were quite complex, and I found myself admiring such a brilliant mind. But I wonder, is it really possible for Associate Professor Yukawa to balance both his research and his work assisting in investigations? Maybe highly intelligent people can pull it off because they don’t waste any time. Still, I think it would be quite difficult in reality.
