9/26なのに9/25ネタ💦:Talking About All the September 25 Anniversaries

今日は、なぜか、昨日である9月25日にちなんだ「国際デー」や「記念日」の質問をテーマにしました。🤣皆さんは、自分の経験や家族のエピソードを交えて話してくれました。

World Maritime Day（海派？山派？）　若いころは海が好きでスキューバをしていたけれど、今は山歩きを楽しんでいるというお話。

Fujiki Kofun Day（古墳に興味ありますか？）　昔は生徒に古墳を教えたけれど、今は忘れてしまった。でも奥さんと「風土記の丘」を下見した思い出は残っているそうです。

Ohigan（お彼岸）　お母様のお盆でご実家へ。そのあとお孫さんを遊園地へ連れて行ったエピソード。

10-yen Curry Day（カレーは好き？）　レトルトカレー派だけれど、家庭菜園のナスを炒めてカレーにのせてみたいというアイデア。

Antique Day（骨董に興味ある？）　骨董品には興味ないけれど「なんでも鑑定団」は面白い！という感想。

Sterling Silver Day（ゴールドとシルバー、どっち？）　奥様の誕生日に毎年ティファニーのシルバーアクセサリーを贈ったという素敵なエピソード。

Housewives’ Day Off（主婦の日に何をする？）　主婦の日は不要！毎日家事を手伝っているから。

Pudding Day（プリンは好き？）　家庭菜園のカボチャでカボチャプリンを作り、家族に食べさせたいというお話。

Skin Care Day（肌のケアしてる？）　昔は「日焼けは健康の証」と信じられていたけれど、今思えば少し反省、という思い出。

今日も日常の一コマを交えながら、英語を楽しみました。

✨ Today’s Summary (English)

Today, our theme was questions related to September 25 anniversaries and international days.Everyone shared their own experiences and family stories while practicing English.

World Maritime Day (Ocean or Mountain?)　Some used to love the ocean and scuba diving, but now they enjoy mountain walks.

Fujiki Kofun Day (Interested in tombs?)　Once taught kofun to students, and still remembers visiting Fudoki-no-Oka with his wife.

Ohigan (Autumn Equinox Week)　Visited his parents’ home for a memorial, then took his grandson to an amusement park.

10-yen Curry Day (Do you like curry?)　Usually eats instant curry, but plans to top it with home-grown eggplant.

Antique Day (Interested in antiques?)　Not into antiques, but enjoys watching the Antiques Appraisal Show.

Sterling Silver Day (Gold or Silver?)　Used to buy Tiffany silver jewelry for his wife’s birthday every year.

Housewives’ Day Off (What should people do?)　“No need for this day—I already help with housework every day!”

Pudding Day (Do you like pudding?)　Thinking of making pumpkin pudding with home-grown pumpkins for his family.

Skin Care Day (Do you take care of your skin?)　Teachers once said “tanned skin is healthy,” but now he looks back with mixed feelings.

It was another fun session, filled with personal stories and lighthearted English practice.
