Q: Do you think UAPs are natural phenomena or made by intelligent beings?UAPは自然現象だと思いますか？それとも知的生命体が作ったものだと思いますか？

→ They’re probably natural. If intelligent beings really came, maybe all of humanity would already be under their control — but that hasn’t happened yet.→ おそらく自然現象でしょう。もし知的生命体が本当に来ていたら、人類はもう彼らに支配されているかもしれません。でもそうなっていないので、自然な現象だと思います。

Q: If you could ask a UAP one question, what would it be?UAPに質問できるとしたら、何を聞きたいですか？

→ There are so many mysterious, supernatural things in this world. I wouldn’t ask the UAP directly — I’d ask the scientists who study them to share more detailed, concrete evidence with the public.→ この世界には不思議なことがたくさんあります。UAPに直接聞くよりも、研究している科学者たちにもっと詳しい証拠を一般の人に公開してほしいです。

Q: Do you think governments are hiding information about UAPs?政府はUAPについての情報を隠していると思いますか？

→ In Japan, probably not. The government doesn’t have an official organization to study them, so they don’t seem to know much.→ 日本では、おそらく隠していないと思います。UAPを調べる公式な機関がないので、あまり情報を持っていないようです。

Q: How would you feel if a UAP landed in your hometown tomorrow?もしUAPがあなたの町に明日降りてきたら、どう感じますか？

→ I’d be curious! Maybe I’d ask the crew who built the pyramids. Technology has advanced so quickly—robots, AI, and even ChatGPT answer anything instantly.→ 興味津々ですね！ピラミッドを作ったのは誰か聞いてみたいです。最近はロボットやAI、ChatGPTなど、技術の進化がとても速いですから。

Q: If you could talk with a household appliance, which one would it be?家電と話せるとしたら、どれと話したいですか？

→ The bath already talks—“The bath will be ready soon!” Someday the kitchen might say, “What would you like to eat?” and even, “How was the taste?”→ お風呂はもうしゃべります。「もうすぐお風呂が沸きます」とか。将来はキッチンが「何を食べたいですか？」とか「味はいかがでしたか？」と話しかけてくるかもしれませんね。

Q: Would you like a self-driving car?自動運転の車が欲しいですか？

→ Yes! It would be great to talk with it. The only problem is finding a place to charge it.→ はい！車と話せたら楽しそうです。ただ、充電できる場所を探すのが問題ですね。

Q: If you could wake up with a superpower, what would it be?明日スーパーパワーを持って目覚めたら、どんな力が欲しいですか？

→ I’d want the power to start the day calm and confident, feeling that something kind and strong is beside me all day.→ 朝から落ち着いて自信を持てる力が欲しいです。優しくて力強い何かが一日中そばにいてくれるような感じで。

Q: If you could talk to your favorite childhood toy or character, what would you say?子どもの頃好きだったおもちゃやキャラクターと話せるなら、何を話しますか？

→ I’d talk with Mickey Mouse. When I was young, there was no Disneyland in Japan, so I only saw him in movies. I’d love to talk to the real Mickey Mouse.→ ミッキーマウスと話したいです。子どものころ日本にディズニーランドがなかったので、映画でしか見られませんでした。本物のミッキーと話してみたいです。

Q: You meet someone in the elevator. What do you say?エレベーターで顔見知りに会ったら何を話しますか？

→ “Hello! It’s getting cold, isn’t it?” The leaves are turning colors, Christmas is near, and it’s time to prepare cakes, roast beef, and osechi!→ 「こんにちは。寒くなってきましたね。」紅葉もきれいで、もうすぐクリスマス。ケーキやローストビーフ、おせちの準備をする季節ですね。

🌼 Everyday Situations and Reactions

日常のちょっとした出来事

Q: There’s a 10-yen coin on the ground. What do you do?道に10円玉が落ちていたらどうしますか？

→ I’d walk past it. Who knows how many germs are on it! But if it were 1,000 yen, I might pick it up.→ そのまま通り過ぎます。どんなバイ菌がついてるかわかりませんから。でも1,000円だったら拾うかも！（笑）

Q: Someone cuts in line at the supermarket. What do you do?スーパーで誰かが列に割り込んできたら？

→ I’d tell them, “Excuse me, we’re in line.” But if they looked scary, like a gangster, I’d stay quiet.→ 「すみません、並んでますよ」と言います。でも相手が怖そうな人なら、黙っています。（笑）

Q: You hear your neighbors arguing loudly. What do you do?隣の家で大声でケンカしていたら？

→ It depends. If it seemed dangerous, I’d call the police. If not, maybe talk to them directly — but only if it felt safe.→ 状況によります。危険そうなら警察に通報します。安全そうなら、話しかけるかもしれません。

Q: You forget someone’s name when you meet them. How do you handle it?会った人の名前を忘れてしまったらどうしますか？

→ I’d just be honest and ask again. I remember faces, but not names!→ 正直に聞き直します。顔は覚えているけど、名前はすぐ忘れちゃうんです。

Q: Someone is talking loudly on the train. What do you do?電車で誰かが大声で電話していたら？

→ Nothing. I don’t like trouble. If it’s too loud, I move to another car.→ 何もしません。トラブルは嫌いです。うるさすぎたら別の車両に移ります。

Q: You drop your food in the food court. What do you do?フードコートで料理を落としてしまったら？

→ I’d call a staff member and apologize: “I’m sorry, I spilled something. Could you please clean it up?”→ スタッフを呼んで「すみません、こぼしてしまいました。掃除をお願いしてもいいですか？」と丁寧に頼みます。
