● Round 1

質問に沿って、物の整理、歴史上の人物の招待、⼈⼒⾞、テレビについての話が出ました。物の整理については、思い出が詰まった品を捨てるのが難しいという意見がありました。「Bake Bake」をテーマに、妖怪に詳しい漫画家・水木しげるを招きたいという発言があり、関連して松江ゆかりの人物の話も出ました。⼈⼒⾞はまだ乗ったことがないが、京都の竹林を走る体験に憧れるという話も共有されました。テレビについては、多くの番組を毎日視聴しており、知識が増える一方で、見すぎて生活がテレビ中心になってしまう悩みが話されました。

● Round 2

挨拶についてのエピソードでは、挨拶を「人と人をつなぐもの」と説明した教師時代の話や、挨拶を続けることで相手から返ってくるようになった経験が紹介されました。歌舞伎については、英語で日本文化を説明するために歌舞伎座へ行った思い出が語られ、演目の色彩とストーリーが興味深かったとの話がありました。また次は相撲を見たいという希望も出ました。フライドチキンについては、孫の誕生日に必ずKFCを買う習慣や、韓国にチキン店が多いことに触れる話がありました。任天堂に関連して、トランプ（カードゲーム）や昔の野球盤など、家庭向けの遊びの思い出が語られました。

● Round 3

牡蠣については、過去に生牡蠣で体調を崩した経験が語られ、それ以来生牡蠣が苦手になったという話が出ました。漬物については、基本的に苦手だが甘いべったら漬けだけは食べられるという意見と、家庭菜園の野菜が大量に収穫できるため、保存のため漬物作りを学びたいという話がありました。時計については、夫婦でSeikoのペアウォッチを購入し、岩手の工場で時計作り体験をしたエピソードが紹介されました。柔道の話題では、高校時代に柔道の授業で強い相手にすぐ負けてしまった経験があり、それ以来観戦はするが自分ではやらなくなったという内容がありました。

● Round 4

「Bake Bake」については、登場人物の背景設定（出身国の意外性や俳優の表現力）が話題に上りました。プリンターについては、3色のうち1色が切れると印刷ができない仕様が不便だという声がありました。DVDに関しては視聴する機会は減ったが、会計ソフトの読み込みで使っているという話から、再び「Bake Bake」の登場人物の生い立ち（複雑な家庭環境、記者としての成功、日本での英語教師としてのキャリア）に話が展開しました。物の整理については、捨てられない性格で本が積み上がり、部屋を歩く場所がなくなるほど困っているという悩みが共有されました。

The discussion covered topics such as decluttering, choosing historical figures to invite, rickshaws, and television.Regarding decluttering, it was mentioned that letting go of sentimental items is difficult.For the “Bake Bake” theme, someone said they would invite Shigeru Mizuki, known for his deep knowledge of yokai, and shared a related experience of visiting the Lafcadio Hearn Museum.On rickshaws, there was interest in experiencing one in places like Kyoto’s bamboo forests.Television habits were also discussed, including watching a wide variety of programs daily, gaining knowledge from TV, and struggling with watching it too much.

● Round 2

The topic of greetings included stories from teaching days, such as explaining greetings as something that connects people and a student eventually receiving a returned greeting after persistently saying “Good morning.”Regarding Kabuki, there were memories of visiting Kabukiza to be able to explain traditional culture in English, with comments on colorful performances and interesting stories. Plans to see sumo were also mentioned.For Fried Chicken Day, someone shared that they always buy KFC for their grandchildren’s birthdays and noted that Korea has many chicken shops.Nintendo-related memories involved card games like Old Maid and Concentration, which were especially popular during holidays, as well as the nostalgic tabletop baseball game.

On Oyster Friday, a story was shared about getting sick from raw oysters in the past, leading to an aversion to them since then.For Pickle Day, it was said that pickles are generally not preferred, except for sweet bettarazuke. Because of home gardening, there is often a surplus of vegetables, prompting an interest in learning to make pickles for longer preservation.Regarding Seiko watches, an episode about buying matching anniversary watches and experiencing watchmaking at the factory in Shizukuishi was mentioned.In the judo discussion, someone recalled losing instantly during a high school judo class to a trained classmate, resulting in a long-lasting reluctance to practice judo, though they still enjoy watching it.

● Round 4

For “Bake Bake,” topics included the surprising background of a character and admiration for an actress’s expressive performance.The printer discussion focused on the inconvenience of inkjet models that stop functioning when even one color runs out.In connection with DVDs, someone mentioned rarely watching them now but still using them for accounting software. This led back to discussing a character from “Bake Bake,” including his difficult childhood, rise as a journalist, and later work as an English teacher in Japan.Regarding decluttering, it was shared that throwing things away is difficult, resulting in stacks of books and very limited walking space in the room.
