A Bit Of Friday Workshop 4/4

Question: "What food do you think pairs well with sushi?"

(お寿司と合う食べ物は何だと思う?)

Response:

"Thanks, that’s a fun question! I go out for sushi now and then.

Honestly, when I eat sushi, I pretty much just want sushi—nothing else. Like, I don’t really want noodles or any extra stuff with it.

But one thing I do always want is that sweet pickled ginger. You know, the thinly sliced kind? I love that stuff! It’s perfect with sushi.

Oh, and there was this one time I had a stomachache after eating mackerel. I don’t know what it was, but I got super dizzy. Maybe it just didn’t sit right with me."

Question:"Finish things you don’t want to do as quickly as possible."

What do you think about that quote?

Response:

Yeah, I totally get that. I have situations like that all the time—where I just need to get something done, even if I don’t want to do it.

Honestly, there are lots of things like that in my everyday life.

And for me, procrastination is the worst. Because in the end, I still have to do it anyway—just later, with more stress. 😅

So these days, I try to just do the stuff I don’t want to do right away.

Even if it’s just for a minute or two, I try to take action—just get started, you know?

And by doing that, things start moving forward, step by step.

Eventually, I can take care of everything little by little, and that makes things way easier down the line.

So yeah, even if I don’t feel like it, I think it’s really important to just start.

Question: "Which snack do you think is perfect for movie night?"

Response:

Well, the first thing that pops into my mind is potato chips. Especially when you’re watching a

movie at the theater—that’s kind of the classic.

But when I’m watching movies at home, I feel like... chips can be kind of messy and loud.

So actually, I prefer something easier to eat—like Kappa Ebisen. You know, those shrimp-flavored snacks?

They’re simple, not too messy, and really easy to grab while watching.

You can just pop a bunch in your mouth without even thinking about it. That’s why I like them.
