マイナンバーカードは発展途上

難病申請更新の書類の数々を送ったけれど、不備があるということでお電話をいただいた。保険証がマイナンバーカードになっているのに、ナポータルからその証明画面や、主治医の臨床調査個人票も夫のマイナンバーカードの両面をプリントして送らなくてはならないそうだ。　おぉ便利になったなと思った医療費の情報は８枚もプリントしたのに不要だったという残念さ。マイナンバーカードって、それ一枚で全部の情報を行政が管理できるようになるのはいつなんだろう。　まだまだ先の話だねきっと。病院の先生達だって、大変だろうに。

I had sent in the application form, but I received a phone call saying there were some issues with it. Even though my health insurance card has been integrated with my My Number card, I still need to print and send the proof screen from Mynaportal, the clinical survey form filled out by my primary doctor, and both sides of my husband’s My Number card.

I had printed eight pages of medical expense information, thinking how convenient it had become—but it turns out they weren’t even necessary.

I wonder when the My Number card will truly become a one-stop solution where all our information is managed seamlessly by the government. Probably not anytime soon. It must be tough for the doctors, too.
