Ordinary is best

My husband hasn't been feeling well, so he skipped taking his lunch box for a bit. He said he'd just get by with something light like a sandwich. But since yesterday, he's started bringing his lunch box again, which is a relief.
Even though the doctor said it was not the flu or COVID, considering his age, there could be all sorts of hidden illnesses. As a worrier, that's what I tend to think. Since yesterday, he's also been cracking more puns and has even been reaching for sweets and citrus fruits. I'd like him to avoid overeating, but it's better to see him with an appetite than without.
For Valentine's Day, he mentioned he wanted kintsuba, but unfortunately, they weren't available. Maybe next time.
